Google SMTP Settings:

Host: smtp.gmail.com

Pot: 587

Authentication type: Default

Use TLS: Use Require TLS

SMTP username and default address should be your full google e-mail address.

Note: From 2022. May Google does not allow SMTP e-mail sending for 3rd party apps. You need to enable 2 Factor verification and create an Application Password for Repair-CRM and use that password here.

To Setup 2-Step Verification in Google:

Go to https://myaccount.google.com/ into Security, and use the Search bar "2-Step" and "App passwords".

Go to Security/ Turn on 2-Step Verification with a Phone number and verify it.

  • To create an App Password for Repair-CRM go to Security / App Passwords and create one.

  • Select Mail / Windows Computer and click Generate.

  • Google will create a Password for you, make sure to write it down and save it somewhere save. Enter it to Repair-CRM SMTP Settings.

Office365 SMTP Settings:

You need to enable SMTP AUTH for Repair-CRM to be able to Send E-mails. You need to login to your Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and enable Authenticated SMTP to enabled.

If it's a Godaddy account, see below.

Host: smtp.office365.com
