Preventive maintenance usually means the same checks on many units at one site. Here's how to set that up.
1. Build the checklist with job custom fields
Go to Settings → System settings → Lists → Job custom fields.
Add a field for each check. Use Dropdown for Yes/No or Pass/Fail, Number for readings, Multiline for remarks.
Save. The fields appear on every job, and technicians fill them in the app.
Need a longer checklist set up? Support can create it for you.
2. Add multiple assets to one job
Create a job for the site's client and location.
Add all the assets you'll service (for example 15 rooftop units).
Technicians can add notes for each asset.
3. Make it recurring
Set up recurring tasks on the asset (Recurring Jobs tab) to generate maintenance requests automatically.
4. Print it
Custom fields print on the Work Order PDF by default. A no-price template can list multiple units with serial numbers.
