QuickBooks Invoices and Estimates Tabs

What is the Invoices tab in Repair-CRM and what is the Estimates tab. These tabs only show up once you have connected QuickBooks Online

Overview
We’re thrilled to announce the addition of two new tabs in Repair-CRM exclusively for QuickBooks Online users: QuickBooks Invoices and QuickBooks Estimates! These features, available starting July 25, 2025, enhance your workflow by seamlessly integrating with QuickBooks Online. N

ow, you can create, manage, view, and sync invoices and estimates directly within Repair-CRM—without constantly switching between platforms. This update builds on the previous workflow, where you could only view jobs in Repair-CRM and create invoices in QuickBooks (indicated by a green icon for invoiced jobs). The new tabs provide a more user-friendly interface, centralizing your financial tasks to save time, reduce errors, and improve organization.Key Features

  • QuickBooks Estimates Tab:

    • Displays all estimates created in QuickBooks Online (not just those from Repair-CRM), including details like products, services, and total amounts.

    • Offers an easier-to-use interface compared to QuickBooks, with support for custom fields (e.g., PO number or DOT number) if configured in QuickBooks Online.

    • View estimates without editing or changing them; focus on quick access and management.

    • Create jobs directly from estimates: If a customer approves, convert the estimate into a job in seconds, auto-populating details like full address, customer information, and estimate items.

    • Schedule jobs seamlessly: Select technicians, add notes, and use drag-and-drop functionality for easy scheduling—all without leaving the screen.

    • Advanced searching and filtering: Sort by status (e.g., pending, accepted, covered) for efficient organization.

  • QuickBooks Invoices Tab:

    • Shows all invoices from QuickBooks Online, including those created outside Repair-CRM.

    • Features a green icon or button with the work order number; click it to access the related job details.

    • View line items and perform quick searches for specific items (e.g., "BIOS" or parts) directly in Repair-CRM.

    • No editing, voiding, or emailing invoices from this tab—it's designed for fast viewing and reference without needing to open QuickBooks Online.

  • Seamless Integration:

    • Sync invoices and estimates to QuickBooks Online with a single click, eliminating manual data entry.

    • Visual indicators like green icons for invoiced jobs and status filters enhance usability.

How to Get Started

  1. Log in to Repair-CRM and navigate to the QuickBooks Invoices or QuickBooks Estimates tab (visible only for QuickBooks Online users).

  2. Connect your QuickBooks Online account if not already done.

  3. For estimates: Browse existing ones, filter by status, and create/schedule jobs as needed using drag-and-drop.

  4. For invoices: Search line items, view details via the green icon, and sync new ones with a click.
