QuickBooks Invoices and Estimates Tabs

Where to find the QuickBooks Invoices and Estimates tabs, what they show, and what to check if you can't see them.

Written by Laszlo Malinovszky

If you use QuickBooks Online, Repair-CRM shows two extra tabs, QuickBooks Invoices and QuickBooks Estimates. They let you view your QuickBooks invoices and estimates and turn estimates into jobs without leaving Repair-CRM.

Where to find the tabs

Once QuickBooks Online is connected, log in to Repair-CRM and open the QuickBooks Invoices or QuickBooks Estimates tab. The tabs are not shown until the connection is set up.

Before you start

QuickBooks Estimates tab

  • Shows all estimates in QuickBooks Online, including ones created outside Repair-CRM, with products, services and totals.

  • Shows custom fields, such as a PO or DOT number, if they are set up in QuickBooks Online.

  • Estimates are view-only. You can't edit them here.

  • Create a job from an approved estimate. The address, customer details and estimate items are filled in automatically.

  • Schedule the job right away: pick technicians, add notes, and drag and drop it onto the calendar.

  • Search and filter estimates by status, such as pending or accepted.

QuickBooks Invoices tab

  • Shows all invoices in QuickBooks Online, including ones created outside Repair-CRM.

  • Click the green icon with the work order number to open the related job.

  • View line items and search for specific items or parts.

  • Invoices are view-only. You can't edit, void or email invoices from this tab. Use QuickBooks Online for that.

Troubleshooting

I can't see the tabs
The tabs only appear when QuickBooks Online is connected. Check your connection and reconnect if needed using the QuickBooks setup guide, then log out and log back in.

An estimate or invoice is missing
The tabs show records from QuickBooks Online. Check that the record exists in the QuickBooks company you connected.
