Creating accurate and professional quotes is a crucial step in securing jobs and maintaining transparent communication with your clients. In Repair-CRM, the quote generation process is integrated with job creation to ensure all necessary information is captured right from the start. This article guides you through the process of creating, sending, and managing quotes within Repair-CRM.

Step 1: Start with Creating a Job

  • All quotes begin with creating a job in Repair-CRM to capture the basic information required for the quote.

  • Navigate to the job creation section and input all the necessary details regarding the job request.

Step 2: Initiate the Quote

  • Once the job is created, go to the job list where you'll find the Send Quote button associated with the job.

  • Click on the Send Quote button, here you can set up the quote date and specify the email address where the quote will be sent.

Step 3: Client Interaction

  • Upon clicking the Send Quote button, your client will receive a link to the quote via email.

  • The client can then review the quote and either Accept or Reject it. If rejected, they have the option to provide a comment for further clarification on their decision.

Step 4: Revising and Resending Quotes

  • You will receive a notification email regarding the client's decision. If the quote is rejected, you can make necessary adjustments based on the client’s comment or other considerations.

  • Modify the prices or add more items as needed, and resend the updated quote as a new version (e.g., Quote version 2.x) to the client.

  • This process can be repeated until the client accepts the quote.

Step 5: Scheduling the Job

  • Upon quote acceptance, you can now proceed to schedule the job to one of your technicians.

  • Navigate back to the job list, select the job, and assign a technician based on availability and expertise.
