The Job Workflow Settings in Repair-CRM are designed to provide flexible and efficient management of job processes. These settings allow you to tailor the workflow to suit your operational needs, ensuring seamless coordination between dispatchers, technicians, and managers. This article explores each setting in detail and reiterates the connected job statuses where necessary.

1. Automatic Job Confirmation:

In the settings, you can enable the Automatic Job Confirmation mode, where jobs assigned to technicians are automatically confirmed without needing manual acceptance. When this setting is enabled, the job status directly transitions from Pending to Scheduled, bypassing the manual acceptance step.

2. Automatic Technician Allocation:

This feature comes into play when a job has multiple technicians assigned. If the designated foreman rejects the job, it is automatically transferred to the next assigned technician as a foreman. This process continues until one of the technicians accepts the job or it is rejected by all, ensuring that job allocation is efficient and there's a higher chance of job acceptance.

3. Signature Required for Finalization:

Enabling this setting mandates a signature to finalize a job. Technicians or managers can provide signatures on the web app to mark the job as finalized, adding an extra layer of verification to the process.

4. Enable Finalizing Step:

When the "Enable Finalizing Step" mode is activated, it allows for a final review of the job by admin or manager users before it's sent to the client or transferred to QuickBooks for invoicing. In this step, you can modify work orders, change prices, or add materials. When this setting is disabled, jobs closed by technicians are sent directly to the customer and are finalized, preventing further edits. This corresponds to the Finalizing job status.

5. Job Quick Close Workflow:

The Job Quick Close Workflow setting speeds up the closing process of a job. When enabled, clients do not receive emails with the PDF and are unable to rate the jobs as they move directly from Finalizing to Closed status. This is particularly useful when seeking to streamline the job closure process without client interaction.

Conclusion: The Job Workflow Settings in Repair-CRM are instrumental in customizing the job management process to align with your business requirements. By understanding and configuring these settings appropriately, you can optimize job allocation, acceptance, finalization, and closure processes.
